Whom we are looking for
Reports to Duty Engineer.
Interacts – cooperates with others in the Engineering Department.
Interacts – cooperates with hotel guests / outside contractors as directed.
Interacts with other departments when necessary to provide additional or specialized services for functions, promotions and festivities
Responsibilities
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES
Carries out repairs and maintenance of domestic hot / cold water system, cooling water systems, storm and sanitary sewer system, irrigation and fountain water systems and swimming pools.
- Attends to repairs or replacement of all bathroom / toilet fixtures in guest rooms, public areas and back of the house areas.
- Carries out fan coil unit services in guest rooms, shops, public areas and offices.
- Clean all manholes and clears sewage and storm water line blockages using snakier machine or other means as required.
- Carries out electric are or oxy-acetylene welding.
- Repairs and maintains functional pars of mechanical equipment and machinery, such as pumps, compressors etc.
- Attends to all types of repair and maintenance work in the hotel premises, including any new additional / extensions to the hotel or any other properties maintained by the hotel.
- Responds to a guest maintenance request within 15 minutes on receipt of the same.
- Ensures that the supplied uniform is clean and in good repair. Always maintain a clean and tidy appearance before entering a guest or public areas.
- Ensures that the plant room, workshop and related areas are kept clean and tidy condition.
- Observes prescribed safety standards. Helps maintain safe conditions for self and others.
- Performs related duties and special projects as assigned.
- Follow the Hotel and departmental policy & procedures.
- Attend all on job and off job trainings as assigned by department head.
