A little taste of your day-to-day
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
Assisting the Assistant Chief Engineer with general hotel and building minor maintenance work
Ensuring that work is completed to a high standard within your established trade which meets the needs and expectations
Initiating actions to correct a hazardous situation and notify supervisors of potential dangers
Conducting routine inspection checks on all operational Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) equipment of the hotel
Ensuring all work procedures are aligned to Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) guidelines
Using energy efficient methods to reduce energy consumption expenses
Logging security incidents and accidents in accordance with hotel requirements
Handling duties as an Emergency Respond team member during fire, Bomb-threats and any emergency cases in the hotel

As Senior Technician, you’ll be assisting the Shift Engineer or Assistant Chief Engineer in managing the engineering/maintenance of your hotel and ensure the safety and comfort of hotel guests and team members.
