Cities like Canberra, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Perth host many world-class educational institutions. Due to the opportunities for work alongside studies and various other benefits, many students aspire to study in Australia, and this number is steadily increasing.

Additionally, obtaining a visa to study in Australia is comparatively easier. The country also offers part-time work opportunities while studying. Thus, Australia can be considered a paradise for talented students worldwide. Although the higher education system here is relatively expensive compared to other countries due to its advanced education and high quality of life, there are various scholarships available for students.

(1) Endeavour Postgraduate Scholarship

Many Bangladeshi students are studying in Australia through various government and private scholarships. One such scholarship offered by the University of Melbourne is the "Graduate Research Scholarship." For the 2023-2024 academic year, the University of Melbourne will provide scholarships for international students at the master's and PhD levels. Each year, 600 students receive this scholarship. Interested applicants can apply until October 31 of this year. The first year will offer a tuition fee remission of AUD 10,000. Students can apply for the scholarship in any subject offered by the university. However, no separate application is required; students can apply for the scholarship as part of the university's admission process.

(3) Deakin University Scholarship

Deakin University was established in 1974 and is a renowned university located in Victoria, Australia. The university ensures high educational standards and collaborates with the Australian government and various companies. This partnership provides students with opportunities for research and work alongside their studies. The university will offer 400 scholarships. Recipients will receive funding for tuition, medical coverage (sick leave pay), health services for international students, and airfare if awarded the scholarship.

Applications must be submitted by October 31. The scholarship prize money is AUD 34,000 per year and is awarded for three and a half years.
