Groundskeeper

Responsibilities

• Property Inspections: Regularly inspect guest service areas, including the pool and public spaces.
• Maintenance Coordination: Oversee preventive maintenance and repairs, ensuring all equipment is operating effectively.
• Vendor Management: Coordinate with third-party vendors and ensure all expenses are documented with purchase orders.
• Safety Compliance: Monitor and maintain compliance with health department requirements and safety protocols.
• Training and Development: Assist in training staff and maintaining documentation for corporate evaluations.
• Emergency Response: Participate in the Emergency Response Team and be available for on-call situations.
• Incident Reporting: Complete incident reports as required, ensuring they are properly documented.

Requirements

• Ability to perform various physical tasks, including lifting up to 100 lbs, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and crouching are required.
• Experience in landscaping, maintenance, or engineering within the hospitality industry.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a guest-focused attitude.
• Flexibility to work varying schedules based on hotel needs.
