Driver Position

Responsibilities

As a Driver, your primary responsibility is to ensure 100% guest satisfaction by operating the hotel’s courtesy shuttle service. You will provide transportation to and from local destinations, ensuring a seamless arrival and departure experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Hotel Shuttle Service: Drive guests to local destinations as requested or according to a schedule.
• Guest Interaction: Greet guests warmly and provide information about hotel services and local attractions.
• Complaint Resolution: Address guest complaints and inquiries promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Log Trips: Maintain accurate records of trips and fuel receipts.
• Luggage Assistance: Load and unload guest luggage and transport it to their rooms, if needed.
• Communication: Stay in contact with the front office and other drivers via radio to keep the hotel informed.
• Lobby Maintenance: Clean and maintain the lobby area when not operating the shuttle.
• Transportation Coordination: Assist guests in arranging taxi or other transportation outside the shuttle’s service area.
• Fuel and Maintenance: Keep the shuttle fueled and report any maintenance issues.

Guest Service Excellence

• Personal Responsibility: Provide personal attention and genuine hospitality to create a memorable guest experience.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with team members to ensure guest needs are met.
• Empathy in Service: Listen and apologize with empathy when resolving guest issues.

Requirements

• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Commitment to exceptional guest service.
• Positive and professional attitude.
• Adherence to hotel policies and safe driving practices.
• Flexibility to work holidays and weekends.
• Valid State Driver’s License with no restrictions.
• Ability to meet airport certification requirements.

Physical Demands

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
• Capability to lift up to 70 pounds and assist with luggage.
• Frequent walking and getting in and out of the vehicle.
