Human Resources Officer

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for managers and employees on all HR matters.
• Deliver a range of HR services to enhance the employee experience across departments, including Commercial, Ground Services, Cargo, and Corporate functions.
• Support and coach managers on employee relations issues such as performance management, absence, grievances, and disciplinary actions.
• Manage employee relations cases from start to finish.
• Advise managers on HR policy implementation to ensure fair and consistent decision-making.
• Collaborate with HR centers of excellence in Doha to roll out company-wide HR initiatives across the Americas.
• Work with the Talent Development team to assess and prioritize training and development needs in line with departmental and corporate goals.
• Oversee the administration of employment records and ensure compliance with local labor laws and Qatar Airways policies.
• Coordinate the orientation of new employees and manage probationary reviews.
• Partner with the local finance team on monthly payroll reporting.
• Support HR project work as needed.

Requirements

About You: The ideal candidate will possess:

• At least three years of generalist HR experience in a dynamic, multi-site environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of employment law and compliance regulations (e.g., health and safety).
• Significant experience in employee relations, organizational change, and case management.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is essential.
• The right to live and work in the USA; some travel will be required.
