Engineer

Responsibilities

• Preventative Maintenance: Assist with routine tasks to maintain hotel quality, including replacing ceiling tiles, light bulbs, and patching vinyl.
• Electrical Systems: Check and perform minor repairs on air conditioning controls, televisions, and lighting systems.
• Equipment Repairs: Assist with repairs of various hotel equipment, including kitchen appliances, laundry machines, and plumbing fixtures.
• Pool Maintenance: Service the hotel pool by adjusting chemicals, cleaning filters, and maintaining records.
• Exterior Upkeep: Maintain the hotel's exterior, ensuring excellent curb appeal through tasks like snow removal and gardening.
• Furniture Refurbishment: Refurbish and paint furniture and fixtures in guest rooms.
• Guest Interaction: Respond courteously to guest inquiries and requests to ensure satisfaction.
• Flexibility: Be available to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• Communication Skills: Proficient in English, with excellent verbal communication skills.
• Professionalism: Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
• Team Player: Collaborate effectively with co-workers and assist them as needed.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to climb, read, stand, walk, and lift 25 to 50 lbs regularly.
• Instruction Follow-Up: Capable of receiving instructions and communicating progress on tasks.
