Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform minor and routine maintenance tasks, including painting, plumbing, electrical work, and HVAC functions for the hotel, pool, and surrounding areas.
• Notify management when major repairs or upgrades to lighting, heating, and ventilation systems are needed.
• Respond promptly to guest service requests in line with company policies, maintaining records of completed tasks.
• Program phone systems according to hotel requirements.
• Monitor daily equipment and utility meter readings.
• Remain accessible to the Front Desk and Chief Engineer.
• Maintain files of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
• Ensure adequate stock of commonly used parts and supplies.
• Familiarize yourself with emergency procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to understand and follow specifications.
• Precision in measurements and calculations for material use and product inspections.
• Capability to lift and move materials safely.
• Proficient in climbing and maintaining balance at heights.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of previous maintenance experience required
• Licenses/Certifications: Technical licenses (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, etc.) are beneficial
