Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Service:

• Warmly greet and welcome guests with a professional demeanor.
• Present menus and provide insights on food and beverage options.
• Take and process guest orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
• Address any guest concerns or complaints with prompt and professional solutions.

Order Management:

• Input orders accurately into the POS system.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to guarantee timely order preparation.
• Serve food and beverages courteously to enhance the dining experience.

Table Maintenance:

• Set up tables with appropriate dining settings prior to guest arrival.
• Clear tables promptly after guests have finished.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in all dining areas.

  Billing and Payments:

   

• Prepare itemized checks reflecting meal costs and applicable taxes.

• Process payments, including credit card transactions, and provide change as needed. 

  
  Team Collaboration:

   

• Collaborate effectively with fellow waitstaff, kitchen teams, and management for seamless operations.

• Assist in training new staff members as required.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Experience:

• Previous experience as a waitress or in a similar role is preferred

Skills:

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Capability to lift and carry heavy trays or items
