Senior Reservations and Ticketing Agent

Responsibilities

• Handling customer requirements and requests professionally, ensuring minimal complaints.
• Supporting travel agents with seat confirmations and arranging VIP booking and ticketing queries.
• Assisting staff and customers in resolving complex issues related to reservations and ticketing on a daily basis.
• Arranging reservations and routing for passengers, utilizing the Amadeus system for bookings.
• Issuing tickets and quoting accurate fares to customers.
• Assigning specified space to customers and maintaining a computerized inventory of passenger space availability.
• Minimizing customer wait times to two minutes.
• Preparing staff rosters to ensure proper distribution of manpower.
• Guiding and supporting staff while keeping them updated on relevant changes in the industry and Qatar Airways products/services.
• Investigating complaints to identify and correct weak areas.
• Ensuring quality of work meets airline standards and motivating staff for daily positive contributions.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A recognized IATA or Airline Advanced Passenger Tariff and Pricing Course.
• Thorough knowledge of special rates, offers, and promotions.
• Strong experience in a ticketing environment.
• Experience in a fast-paced customer service setting.
• A passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
• Proven ability to resolve problems to the customer's full satisfaction.
• The capability to adhere to management policies and target sales mix for maximum revenue.
• Willingness to work shifts.
• Experience working with Amadeus.
• Authorization to work lawfully in the United States; this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
