Responsibilities
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Clean and service assigned rooms or areas following established standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms.
- Wear safety equipment as required and handle chemicals safely.
- Greet and acknowledge guests with warmth and professionalism.
- Notify supervisors when services are completed and report any rooms that cannot be serviced.
- Address guest complaints and special requests promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Monitor supplies and amenities, minimizing waste.
- Maintain knowledge of hotel information to assist guests effectively.
- Participate in deep cleaning projects and assist with turn-down duties when needed.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate with other departments to ensure excellent service.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Communication Skills: Ability to engage with guests and colleagues easily.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is essential; additional language skills are a plus.
- Tech Savvy: Basic literacy and familiarity with computers, particularly with reservation systems like Opera.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Experience: Ideally, two years in a guest service role within a 5-star property.
