Guest Room Attendant (Housekeeping)

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including bathtubs, toilets, sinks, and floors using various cleaning agents.
• Follow cleaning procedures and instructions for cleaning agents.
• Strip and make beds, changing linens (may lift bedspreads up to 50 lbs).
• Dust furniture, pictures, and surfaces thoroughly.
• Vacuum rooms and empty trash.
• Replenish amenities, linens, and supplies in guest rooms.
• Retrieve room keys, push carts to assigned rooms, and restock supplies.
• Inspect rooms for cleanliness and appearance.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available regularly.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate and comprehend English.
• Self-starter with a professional appearance and demeanor.
• Strong communication skills with guests and team members.
• Team player willing to assist coworkers.
• Knowledge of cleaning agents and equipment operation.
• Ability to push/pull equipment up to 100 lbs and perform various cleaning tasks.
