Room Attendant

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned guest rooms or suites per brand standards, including making beds, vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning bathrooms.
• Maintain cleaning protocols and ensure all trash containers are emptied and liners replaced.
• Restock usable items such as soap, towels, and amenities.
• Handle and properly dispose of guest room trays, glassware, and silverware.
• Clean and vacuum exterior entries and hallways.
• Keep linen closets and supply areas organized and clean.
• Attend to guest laundry and dry-cleaning orders promptly.
• Notify supervisors of any maintenance needs or guestroom issues.
• Handle guest complaints or requests with empathy and professionalism.
• Ensure rooms are secured after leaving and demonstrate teamwork and personal responsibility.

Requirements

• Minimum one year of hospitality experience in housekeeping.
• Effective communication and ability to follow instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to exceptional guest service.
• Ability to clean multiple room types and meet daily quotas.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Adherence to hotel policies and procedures. 

Physical Demands

• Perform repetitive hand and arm movements.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and pull/push up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to squat, bend, kneel, and twist; stand for long periods.
