Cashier

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain operational standards and safety procedures within the department, while providing training as needed.
• Ensure effective communication with the General Manager, Department Managers, Supervisors, and Staff.
• Greet guests and clients with outstanding service in line with Courtyard by Marriott standards.
• Handle guest requests efficiently and follow all cash operating procedures.
• Adhere to opening and closing protocols, ensuring compliance with all operational guidelines.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in the restaurant industry.
• Must meet the minimum state age requirement to serve alcoholic beverages.
• Previous experience in guest relations and/or training is preferred.
• Food Handling Certificate required.
• Cashier experience is necessary.
• Fluency in a second language, preferably Spanish, is a plus.
• Ability to read and understand safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural manuals.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests, management, and co-workers.
• Proficient in performing mathematical calculations and using measurement tools accurately.
