Sales Catering Manager

Responsibilities

We are looking for our next great team member to join our dynamic Sales Team as a Catering Sales Manager. In this role, you will:

• Collaborate with the Director of Sales and Marketing and the Director of Catering & Event Management to negotiate pricing and optimize hotel revenue.
• Build relationships through proactive account solicitation and responsive sales opportunities, including sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, site inspections, and trade shows.
• Develop community relationships to expand our customer base.
• Manage key internal and external stakeholder relationships.
• Provide accurate and comprehensive reporting as needed.
• Utilize market trends and customer information to maximize revenue.
• Understand competitors' strengths and weaknesses, as well as current economic trends.
• Execute operational aspects of booked business, including generating proposals, writing contracts, and customer correspondence.
• Achieve personal sales goals while gaining insights into our primary target customers and their service expectations.
