Job Description

We’re looking for individuals with a passion for gardening and landscape care. As a Grounds Keeper, you will help maintain our turf, ornamental trees, shrubs, bedding plants, and flowers. Beginners are welcome—while experience in grounds maintenance is a plus, it is not required.

Responsibilities

Prepare soil for planting beds and lawn areas.
Operate equipment such as mowers, weed trimmers, and utility vehicles.
Plant trees, shrubs, turf grass, and flowers.
Prune and trim trees and shrubs.
Maintain cleanliness by removing trash and debris.
Apply mulch, water, fertilizer, and grooming techniques to landscapes.
Incorporate safe work practices in all tasks.
Ensure regular attendance and complete other duties as assigned.
Have flexible schedules to work as needed.
Are committed to safety protocols to ensure a positive experience for both staff and patrons.

Requirements

Less than a high school education or up to one month of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Valid Driver’s License.
Ability to read and speak English may be required to communicate with customers and co-workers and to understand equipment manuals.
Frequent use of hands.
Regularly stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
Ability to lift, move, and carry up to 50 pounds; push or pull up to 100 pounds.
Exposure to varying weather conditions, chemicals, and moderate noise levels.
