Cleaner

Responsibilities

• Utilize effective cleaning and sanitizing protocols to maintain assigned areas daily.
• Address cleaning needs as they arise during your shift, as requested by your supervisor.
• Adhere to safety protocols for cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Replenish supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, sanitizers, and soaps.
• Clean and sanitize high-touch points throughout the day (e.g., doorknobs, faucets, elevator buttons).
• Thoroughly clean all floors, drains, mats, and surfaces.
• Vacuum carpets, ensuring bags are emptied regularly and have adequate capacity.
• Proactively identify areas needing attention and maintain pleasant odors.
• Clean surfaces, windows, and mirrors as needed.
• Sanitize gym equipment between member use.
• Be familiar with cleaning protocols across various Club areas to assist during staff shortages.
• Complete deep cleaning tasks, including shampooing carpets, degreasing surfaces, and sanitizing restrooms and guest rooms.
• Conduct general cleaning of hotel guest rooms, ensuring all traces of previous guests are removed.
• Report lost and found items to the main desk.
• Perform laundry duties, including managing the laundry room and stocking towels and linens.
• Inspect your work for quality before marking assignments as complete.
• Prepare guest rooms for check-ins, conducting quality control inspections and replenishing amenities.
• Conduct equipment and supply inspections and inventory checks.
• Lead specialty cleaning projects as needed.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role within retail, hospitality, fitness, or food and beverage sectors.
• Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt as needed.
• Excellent customer service skills.
