Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and security of the facility and grounds.
• Perform repairs and maintenance while maintaining cleanliness throughout the facility.
• Monitor individuals entering, exiting, or loitering around the premises, and respond to security-related complaints from residents, members, guests, and employees.
• Conduct routine walk-arounds of the property at both scheduled and random intervals.
• Ensure that doors are locked and the property remains secure.
• Document details and provide updates to management, maintaining logs and reports of all related activities.
• Identify and rectify any safety hazards.
• Carry out maintenance duties as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Availability to work overnight shifts.

Other Qualifications

• Regular and reliable attendance.
